Welcome

Welcome to my blog. This is a journal(mostly) about my wine-making efforts and taking it public.

I'm a private person, I don't like letting people in. I hate facebooks, I hate twits. Myspace makes me sick. But I'll make this blog, because I'm just that passionate about my art, my wine-making.

The goal is to take Berger's Fermenting Barrels commercial, and this blog will document my journey...for potential investors, other entrepeneurs, for future customers curious about the company.

Please look around, check out my posts. Comment or just say hello. Thank me for the wine, tell me just how great it was. Think you can help me out somehow? Have a contact in the biz, offer me your labor or creativity? I'm fundless at the moment... but I can reward you with wine, or I can keep you in mind in the future. I never forget a favor!

Bottoms Up,

Jason Berger, Wine Artist

A Free Bottle?!!

If I didn't explain it to you, you're probably wondering why I gave you a free bottle of wine...

When I walk outside my house, I expect people to lavish me with gifts... expensive, high-quality technical gizmos, clothing, furniture, and the like, because I deserve them.  But sadly, the amount I'm actually given comes nowhere near to what I deserve!

There is a huge injustice in this world.

And if I'm not receiving anything when I deserve it, then that must mean other people are getting screwed too!  I must set things right!

I have some extra bottles of wine... why not hand them out to people who might deserve them.  They don't have to do something for me, they should just be good, hard-working people trying to make an honest dollar.

And if they're not, they only have to answer to themselves.  I'm no judge, no jury... just a provider.  If you take undeservedly, then you will fall into a pit of despair and misery for all eternity.  But it's not my place to decide who is worthy, I can just try to make life a little bit easier and joyous for my friends.

Pit of Despair (a lot more candles than I thought)

Besides, it's illegal to sell alcohol without a license...just buy a bottle when I finally do go public!

Bottoms Up!
